Chelsea Handler was recently on Vancouver Island and shared some photos of her time in Tofino, B.C.<\/p>\n
Handler, an American comedian, had some friends with her in Tuff City, including a notable Canadian musician.<\/p>\n
On her trip, she experienced some of B.C.\u2019s beautiful wilderness and dined in some of Tofino\u2019s eateries, like Ombre<\/a>. Her entourage also hit up Shelter<\/a>. She shared pictures of her trip in a post on Instagram, with the caption, \u201cWent to Tofino for the weekend to practice smiling.\u201d<\/p>\n She also gave a shoutout to a Vancouver photographer<\/a> for capturing her in the wild.<\/p>\n Things got a little bit testy in the comments, but it seemed clear that it was all in good fun.<\/p>\n In one of the photos on her Instagram post, Handler can be seen in a group picture with Canadian musician Jann Arden.<\/p>\n One of Handler\u2019s followers wrote a comment saying, \u201cJann Arden! She\u2019s so funny. Wish I were there.\u201d Handler was quick to respond, saying, \u201cShe\u2019s also a terrible driver.\u201d<\/p>\n Arden quipped back, \u201cGet out of my car. At the very least- you had a sober chauffeur.\u201d<\/p>\n Arden added one additional comment simply saying, \u201cffs.\u201d<\/p>\n The exchange didn\u2019t end there. Arden made another comment later, saying, \u201cAND- You had a great driver to [whisk] you around town.\u201d<\/p>\n Handler responded, \u201ctrying to find the emoji that is scratching their head.\u201d<\/p>\n Many of Handler\u2019s followers also commented, with some suggesting that she might as well become a Canadian citizen at this point, given her frequent visits, and others stating that Canada loves her.<\/p>\n Another follower said, \u201cTofino! The most magical place on the island \ud83d\ude0d.\u201d<\/p>\n While Tofino is a popular destination in the summertime for surfing and other outdoor activities, it\u2019s just as popular in the fall<\/a> due to the impressive storm-watching opportunities available, in addition to many other attractions and activities.<\/p>\n
