Now, the British pop singer-songwriter has announced she\u2019s taking a break to prioritize her health. \u201cI\u2019m going away for a while,\u201d she <a data-offer-url=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DPO7v-iEWvi\/\" class=\"external-link\" data-event-click=\"{&quot;element&quot;:&quot;ExternalLink&quot;,&quot;outgoingURL&quot;:&quot;https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DPO7v-iEWvi\/&quot;}\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DPO7v-iEWvi\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">wrote<\/a> in a statement on social media. \u201cIt pains me to say I have to cancel everything for the foreseeable future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThank you for all the love and support,\u201d Young continued. \u201cI\u2019m so sorry to let anyone down who has bought a ticket to see me, it hurts me more than you know. Obviously you will be entitled to a full refund. I really hope you\u2019ll give me a second chance once I\u2019ve had some time to work on myself and come back stronger. Love you all, Lola x\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Over the years, Young has opened up about her various health struggles and diagnoses, including ADHD, schizoaffective disorder, and a 2024 rehab stay to treat cocaine addiction. Young pulled out of Audacy\u2019s We Can Survive Concert in Newark, citing mental health concerns, prior to her fainting at All Things Go this past weekend. During her debut Coachella performance earlier this year, she also vomited onstage, which she later chalked up to nerves.<\/p>\n<p>Young has been writing and recording music ever since she was a teenager, having landed spots in competition shows such as Open Mic UK and Got What It Takes? in England. Last year, her single \u201cMessy\u201d\u2014from her sophomore album This Wasn\u2019t Meant for You Anyway\u2014achieved massive success, topping the UK Singles Chart for four weeks.
