\n\tLola Young<\/a> is taking steps to prioritize her mental health and well-being. On Tuesday, the musician announced that she\u2019s canceling future shows and events for the \u201cforeseeable future,\u201d days after collapsing onstage<\/a> at All Things Go in New York City.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m going away for a while. It pains me to say I have to cancel everything for the foreseeable future,\u201d Young wrote. \u201cThank you for all the love and support. I\u2019m sorry to let anyone down who has bought a ticket to see me, it hurts me more than you know.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t Young was set to go on a North American tour celebrating her new album I\u2019m Only F**cking Myself <\/a>starting in November. Those shows will now be canceled. In her post, she promised fans would receive a full refund.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI really hope you\u2019ll give me a second chance once I\u2019ve had some time to work on myself and come back stronger,\u201d Young wrote in her post before signing off: \u201cLove you all, Lola x.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOver the weekend, Young seemed to faint onstage while performing at All Things Go<\/a>\u00a0in New York City. She later canceled her appearance at the Maryland-hosted edition of the music festival, as she received support from other artists on the bill.<\/p>\n

\n\tBefore the medical incident, Young\u00a0spoke\u00a0onstage about how she \u201chad a tricky couple of days,\u201d saying, \u201cSometimes life can really make you feel like you can\u2019t continue, but you know what, today I woke up and I made the decision to come here, and I wanted to be cool \u2026 and sometimes life can throw you lemons, and you just gotta make lemonade.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tA day prior, Young\u2019s manager announced that he\u2019d decided to pull her from Audacy\u2019s We Can Survive concert in New Jersey as a \u201cprotective measure to keep her safe,\u201d citing the singer\u2019s mental health.<\/p>\n

You are so loved!\u201d singer Hayley Kiyoko wrote. \u201cTake care of you, all of this will still be here when you get back,\u201d wrote Lukalu. \u201cYou are so special, I know we don\u2019t know each other, but just take all of the time u need,\u201d said Lauv. \u201cSending love,\u201d wrote Tinashe.<\/p>\n

\n\tYoung has described her mental health struggles in the past. \u201cIt\u2019s very important that I\u2019ve been open about it because it\u2019s given the leeway for other people to be open about it and the drive for other people to reach out and say how much it has helped them,\u201d she told\u00a0Rolling Stone<\/a>, citing occasional episodes that have taken place in front of collaborators, and how writing through them has resulted in some of her most raw work to date.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Lola Young is taking steps to prioritize her mental health and well-being.
