In a<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.windows.com\/windowsexperience\/2025\/10\/01\/microsoft-marks-50-years-with-limited-edition-crocs-shoes-nodding-to-windows-xp\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> post on Wednesday<\/a>, Microsoft said it\u2019s launching the limited-edition Crocs with a blue sky and clouds drawstring backpack as part of its 50th anniversary.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">It doesn\u2019t look like Microsoft will sell the Windows XP Crocs online. Microsoft is holding a sweepstakes on its Instagram account through Tuesday, October 7th at 11:59PM PT, and it\u2019s asking users to like and comment \u201c#MicrosoftCrocSweepstakes\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DPRcPVijRHK\/?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ%3D%3D&amp;img_index=4\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">on its post<\/a> for a chance to win a pair. The Verge reached out to Microsoft to see if it would make them widely available for purchase, but a spokesperson didn\u2019t immediately respond.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">We first got a glimpse at the Windows XP Crocs in August, when Microsoft <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/microsoft\/717965\/microsoft-crocs-windows-xp-bliss-wallpaper-theme\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">started offering the nostalgic shoes<\/a> to its employees.
