The Mount St. Mary’s men’s and women’s tennis teams will be sending four athletes to the 2025 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Masters Tournament, hosted by Quinnipiac University and Fairfield University, on October 3-5.\u00a0 Sophomore Alexi Roy<\/a> and freshman Stefanos Pournaropolous will represent the men’s team while senior Bella Pescatore and sophomore Venus Tang will be competing for the women’s team.<\/p>\n

In the men’s singles bracket, Pournapolous will face Niagara’s Damian Janiszewski in the opening round at 9:00 a.m. at Fairfield University.\u00a0 Roy was seeded sixth in the draw and earned a bye, he will open play at noon on Saturday at Quinnipiac University against the winner of the match between Niagara’s Aryav Bhawan and Fairfield’s Kostas Kollias.\u00a0 In doubles action, Pournaropolous and Roy will squared off against Siena’s Mars Argurs and Matteo Castellazzi at 3:00 p.m. at Fairfield University.<\/p>\n
