During the Tuesday, Sept. 30, episode, the season 34 cast was tasked with taking on TikTok Night, dancing to trending songs from the social media app.<\/p>\n
The episode ended with a surprising elimination that left everyone in the ballroom shocked. Lauren Jauregui<\/a> and her partner, Brandon Armstrong, were voted off the week 3 episode. She is confident, she’ll tell it like it is,\u201d he said. \u201cBut she is the first person in the room that will make sure everyone’s heard, everyone’s seen. She’s an empath.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cShe has a perfect soul,\u201d Hoying continued, sharing that he both adores and is inspired by Jauregui.<\/p>\n \u201cI am gagged,\u201d he said, later adding that he thought she had a chance to win this season.<\/p>\n \u201cI’m so shocked, and it’s really, really sad because she was really invested,\u201d the Pentatonix singer said. \u201cShe puts her heart into everything.\u201d<\/p>\n Disney\/Eric McCandless<\/p>\n Rylee Arnold and Scott Hoying on Sept. 30, 2025<\/p>\n Hoying’s partner, Rylee Arnold, echoed the sentiments, telling PEOPLE how much of a \u201ckind soul\u201d Lauren has been during the production.<\/p>\n \u201cShe’s been such a good friend to us at rehearsals and then somebody that you can just talk to and just be vulnerable with,\u201d Rylee said. \u201cSo the competition is really gonna miss her.\u201d<\/p>\n The professional added that Lauren is \u201cso talented,\u201d so when Lauren\u2019s name was announced, Rylee said her jaw \u201cgenuinely was dropped for a long time.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI couldn’t believe it,\u201d she said. \u201cIt’s crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n Disney\/Eric McCandless<\/p>\n Brandon Armstrong and Lauren Jauregui on Sept. 30, 2025<\/p>\n Lauren and Brandon\u2019s final ballroom dance was a cha-cha to \u201cWork From Home\u201d by Fifth Harmony featuring Ty Dolla $ign.<\/p>\n After their performance, they earned an 18\/30 from the judges. During the critique, Derek Hough<\/a> said he looks forward to Lauren’s performances every week, but she needs “more fire” for the Latin dances.<\/p>\n “You have a wonderful lyrical quality,” judge Bruno Tonioli<\/a> said. “Sometimes you have to hit and show the beat through your body like you would with your voice.”<\/p>\n “I really like the way you move,” judge Carrie Ann Inaba<\/a> said. “I want to see a lot more pop in your step … I want more dynamics.
