{"id":184904,"date":"2025-10-02T11:54:12","date_gmt":"2025-10-02T11:54:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/184904\/"},"modified":"2025-10-02T11:54:12","modified_gmt":"2025-10-02T11:54:12","slug":"suspects-sought-in-assault-and-robbery-at-ttc-subway-station-cp24","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/184904\/","title":{"rendered":"Suspects sought in assault and robbery at TTC subway station \u2013 CP24"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Toronto police are looking for two suspects accused of assaulting and robbing one person at a TTC subway station last week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Police said the victim was on the subway platform at Main Station on Sept. 25 when they were approached by two suspects and allegedly assaulted.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The suspects, one of whom had an edged weapon, proceeded to steal the victim\u2019s property, police allege.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">They fled shortly after.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tps.ca\/media-centre\/news-releases\/64161\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tps.ca\/media-centre\/news-releases\/64161\/\">In a news release on Wednesday<\/a>, police released the suspects\u2019 images and descriptions. Both are described as being five-foot-seven, 18 to 20 years old, with a medium build.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-chromatic=\"ignore\" alt=\"\" class=\"c-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/4CSV6AG745FWJJKMP3CV2Y3IBY.png\"  width=\"800\" height=\"449\"\/>Suspects Two suspects wanted in an assault and robbery investigation. (Toronto Police Service) <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">One suspect has black braids and a black goatee and was last seen wearing a red puffer jacket and black joggers.
