The England international arrives on loan from Manchester United and will give coach Hansi Flick further options up front, all the while wearing a shirt number worn by some illustrious names in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fcbarcelona.com\/en\/club\/history\/decade-by-decade\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">blaugrana history.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Pablo Torre, the most recent\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The previous owner of the number 14 shirt was Pablo Torre, the latest in a long line of wearers that goes back to the 1990s. Jordi Cruyff, son of the Bar\u00e7a legend Johan, wore the famous shirt in the 1995-96 season, imitating his father who made the number famous during his playing career.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Others to wear the number were Gerard L\u00f3pez\u00a0(1999-2000),\u00a0Santi Ezquerro\u00a0(2004-05) and Thierry Henry, the Frenchman shining for Bar\u00e7a in the 14 jersey from 2007 to 2010.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Mascherano, eight seasons in the 14<\/p>\n<p>Later on, Javier Mascherano spent 2010 to 2018 in the jersey in his own committed and belligerent style.
