The pilot restricted vehicle access in spring and fall to allow cyclists to enjoy the route safely.<\/p>\n<p>The pilot proved popular, with strong public demand and positive feedback. As a result, Parks Canada has extended the program for an additional five years, from 2025 to 2030.<\/p>\n<p>RELATED STORIES:<\/p>\n<p>During the extended pilot, Parks Canada will continue to monitor visitor experience, accessibility, safety, enforcement, and wildlife management.
