\n\tFirst came the announcement. Then came the fan-made merch<\/a>. And now, on the eve of Taylor Swift<\/a>\u2018s twelfth studio album release (Friday, Oct. 3, at midnight ET), the time has come to snag the limited-edition, retailer-exclusive vinyl and CDs decked out with special packaging and perks. Here\u2019s the full breakdown of The Life of a Showgirl<\/a> physical copies.<\/p>\n

\n\tStarting off with the original version, Barnes & Noble has the best price<\/a> for both the CD<\/a> and vinyl LP<\/a> at time of publish: $13.89 for the former and $32.99 for the latter. Other retailers selling the physical versions online for preorder include Walmart<\/a> ($13.97 for CD<\/a>, $35 for vinyl<\/a>), Amazon<\/a> ($13.97 for CD<\/a>, $36.98 for vinyl<\/a>), Target<\/a> ($14.99 for CD<\/a>, $34.99 for vinyl<\/a>) and Urban Outfitters<\/a> ($16.98 for CD<\/a>, $39.98 for vinyl<\/a>). <\/p>\n

\n\tThe standard editions are officially titled: Sweat and Vanilla Perfume CD With Poster<\/a> and Sweat and Vanilla Perfume Portofino Orange Glitter Vinyl<\/a>. As described, the former comes with a folded poster, double-sided and measuring approximately 19 inches by 9.5 inches. It also includes a jewel case with collectible front and back cover art, one disc with collectible disc artwork and a collectible eight-page booklet that includes never-before-seen photos and song lyrics.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Sweat and Vanilla Perfume Vinyl<\/a> is translucent orange with gold glitter. Included with purchase are a collectible double gatefold jacket with a unique front and back cover, a full-size gatefold photograph of Swift, a double-sided foldout panel which includes a poem written by Swift on one side and a photo strip with four photos on the other and collectible album sleeves which include never-before-seen photos and album lyrics.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs for the special editions of the vinyl and CD, unlike Wicked: For Good, which has a variety of retailer-exclusive versions<\/a>, Target is the only major retailer with its own special packaging. Starting off with the CD, Target has three unique offerings: the It\u2019s Beautiful<\/a> edition, It\u2019s Frightening<\/a> edition and It\u2019s Rapturous<\/a> edition. <\/p>\n

All three versions are available for preorder at Target.com<\/a> at time of publish, and retail for $14.99.<\/p>\n

\n\tFinally, preorders have sold out for the Target-exclusive vinyl<\/a>, but the website<\/a> says to check back at time of release (Oct. 3). The limited run is called The Life of a Showgirl: The Crowd is Your King Edition (Summertime Spritz Pink Shimmer Vinyl)<\/a>. It\u2019s an opaque pink and pale yellow pearlescent vinyl with gold shimmer and includes a 24-inch-by-36-inch double-sided poster featuring photos of Swift, collectible custom gatefold jacket with unique front and back cover and cut-out reveal of vinyl disc, full-size gatefold photograph of Swift, double-sided foldout panel which includes a poem written by Swift on one side and a photo strip with four unique photos on the other and collectible album sleeves which include never-before-seen photos and album lyrics. It retails for $34.99.<\/p>\n
