Late prelims follow at 8 pm ET/ 5 pm PT on ESPN+ and FX (this week only.)

Main card action wraps up the night at 10 pm ET/ 7 pm PT on ESPN+ pay-per-view. All told, you’ve got 14 fights on the schedule this Saturday.

UFC 320 Main Event: UFC Light Heavyweight Championship: [C] Magomed Ankalaev vs. No. 1 Contender Alex Pereira II

At the top of the bill for UFC 320, the light heavyweight title is up for grabs in the main event of the evening. Current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Magomed Ankalaev (21-1–1, 1 NC MMA, 12-1-1, 1 NC UFC) rematches with No. 1 contender and former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Alex Pereira (12-3 MMA, 9-2 UFC.) This title fight, along with the co-main event of the evening, will be an advertised maximum of five rounds at five minutes per round.

This past March, Ankalaev bested Pereira by unanimous decision after five rounds to win the title. How will the rematch play out?

Ankalaev comes into UFC 320 with a record of 3-0-1 with one no-contest in his last five bouts. He’s currently on a 13-fight unbeaten streak. Before the original fight vs. Pereira, he bested Alexander Rakic (14-5 MMA, 6-4 UFC) by unanimous decision.

When a fighter is on a hot streak, as champion Magomed Ankalaev is right now, he’s at his most dangerous. It’ll be interesting to see what happens on Saturday night.

Meanwhile, “Poatan” enters this Saturday’s card having posted a mark of 4-1 in his last five fights. Prior to dropping the belt to Ankalaev finished Khalil Rountree Jr. (14-6, 1 NC MMA, 10-6, 1 NC UFC) with uppercuts in the fourth round to defend the title.

Pereira has revenge on his mind. Prior to fighting Magomed Ankalaev late last winter, he’d won five fights in succession.

This is a man who’s already held UFC gold twice in his career. Will revenge be on the menu this Saturday evening?

UFC 320 Co-Main Event: UFC Bantamweight Championship: [C] Merab Dvalishvili vs. No. 4 Contender Cory Sandhagen

Immediately beforehand, the UFC 320 co-main event sees the action shift to the bantamweight division. Incumbent UFC Bantamweight Champion Merab Dvalishvili (20-4 MMA, 13-2 UFC) battles No. 4 contender Cory Sandhagen (18-5 MMA, 11-4 UFC.)

Merab Dvalishvili enters the co-main attraction with a record of 5-0 in his last five fights as part of an ongoing seven-fight winning streak. Back in June, he trekked to Newark, NJ and Prudential Center and defeated Sean O’Malley (18-3, 1 NC MMA, 10-3, 1 NC UFC) by way of submission due to north south choke in a rematch for the title in UFC 316.

This is his third defense of the title. Each of his first two defenses have resulted in a post-fight bonus given out at the press conference. If Dvalishvili turns in another impressive performance in UFC 320, another cash advance to the tune of $50,000 will be looming for him.

Across the way, Cory Sandhagen comes in with a 4-1 record in his past five fights dating back to September of 2022. On May 3, he picked up a second-round TKO after his opponent, Deiveson Figuereido (24-5-1 MMA, 13-5-1 UFC,) could not continue in the match due to a knee injury.

Sandhagen has been a streaky fighter in the past, having won three fights from September of 2022 to August of 2023 after losing two fights in a row in the second half of 2021. Will this be the start of another streak?

UFC 320: No. 2 Contender Jiri Prochazka vs. No. 4 Contender Khalil Rountree Jr.

Also on UFC 320’s main card, you’ll be seeing a critical contest at light heavyweight between No. 2 contender Jiri Prochazka (31-5-1 MMA. 5-2 UFC) and No. 4 contender Khalil Rountree Jr. (14-6, 1 NC MMA, 10-6, 1 NC UFC.) This is a three-round fight at five minutes per round.

With the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship being the focus of the headlining contest this Saturday, Magomed Ankalaev and Alex Pereira will be watching with interest from the locker room as they wait to go on. The winner of this fight will probably be up next for the champion.

Prochazka, an alumnus of RIZIN Fighting Federation, has gone 3-2 over the course of the past five fights. Back in January, he scored a third-round knockout with ground and pound shots over Jamahal Hill (12-4, 1 NC MMA, 6-4, 1 NC UFC.)

As a result, Prochazka pocketed a $50,000 (USD) bonus for the Performance of the Night Award. He’s got an established championship pedigree, but will he take the next step toward another shot at a title?

In the other corner, Khalil Rountree Jr.’s posted a mark of 4-1 in his last five appearances. He’s got a common opponent in that stretch going into UFC 320, as well.

Like Prochazka, Rountree fought Hill in June in UFC Baku, securing the win by unanimous decision. Rountree is the fresher fighter by far, only having taken three months off of competition, compared to the eight-month hiatus that Prochazka has had. Who walks away the winner?

Rest of the Card

The main card of UFC 320 is rounded out by a featherweight contest pitting No. 8 contender Josh Emmett (19-5 MMA, 10-5 UFC) against No. 9 contender Youssef Zalal (17-5-1 MMA, 7-3-1 UFC) and a middleweight fight between No. 14 contender Joe Pyfer (14-3 MMA, 5-1 UFC) and Abus Magomedov (28-6-1 MMA, 4-2 UFC.)

Which fight or fights on the main card are you looking forward to?
