Thomson positioned himself to move inside the top-80 and secure status for next season after carding a bogey-free 62, and would jump from No. 96 to No. 48 in the Fortinet Cup. John DuBois is also projected to move inside the top-80 from No. 93 to No. 78 after carding a course record 9-under 61.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Michael Brennan, the No. 1 player in the Fortinet Cup standings, trails by two strokes after carding a 2-under 63 on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Kinney started the week at No. 20 in the Fortinet Cup points list and would move to No. 4 with a win on Sunday. Kinney will play in the final group for the third time this season, and finished as the runner-up the last time he played in the last group at the Explore NB Open.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Newcomb entered the week at No. 31 in the points list and would move to No. 7 in the points list with a win.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">All players completed play on Saturday.
