PELLA\u2014 The Central College women’s tennis team made a triumphant return home, securing a 5-2 win over Loras College Friday.

\nAfter losing three consecutive American Rivers Conference matches away from the Poortinga Family Tennis Courts, \u00a0Central (5-3, 4-3 conference) dispatched Loras (4-5, 2-5 conference).

\nEmily Blom<\/a> (sophomore, Pella) and Sidney Peterson<\/a> (freshman, Johnston) both went 2-0 in the match. They paired together for a 6-1 win at No. 3 doubles. Blom won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5 singles while Peterson won 7-5, 6-2 at No. 6 singles.
