He\u2019s the only artist of the 10 to surpass $1 billion in auction sales, his auction record a staggering $91.1 million in 2019, the highest sum ever achieved for a living artist. At 95 years old,\u00a0Johns, with 14 works selling for more than $10 million, is also the oldest on the list. The sole woman artist to make the top 10 is\u00a0Cindy Sherman.
