A pivotal women\u2019s flyweight tilt is set for the UFC\u2019s return to Canada.<\/p>\n
Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion\u2019s plans confirmed to MMA Fighting that a matchup between recent title challenger Manon Fiorot<\/a> and surging contender Jasmine Jasudavicius<\/a> is set for UFC Vancouver. The event takes place Oct. 18 at Rogers Arena. MMA Junkie<\/a> was first to report. <\/p>\n Fiorot vs. Jasudavicius is a three round matchup, per multiple sources. <\/p>\n In her most recent bout, Fiorot came up short in her first championship bout, as she dropped a unanimous decision to Valentina Shevchenko<\/a> in the co-main event of UFC 315<\/a> in May. Prior to that, Fiorot won all seven of her UFC bouts, including wins against Rose Namajunas<\/a> and Erin Blanchfield<\/a>.<\/p>\n Jasudavicius gets another home country bout and does so on an impressive five-fight win streak.
