SIOUX FALLS, S.D. \u2013 St. Cloud State Women’s Soccer (5-0-3, 3-0-2 NSIC) recorded its fourth consecutive shutout in a 0-0 tie against Sioux Falls (4-3-1, 2-2-1 NSIC) on Friday afternoon at Bob Young Field in Sioux Falls, S.D. Redshirt sophomore Jaylee Strickland<\/a> (Columbus, Ohio) made three saves in the tie as the Huskies extended their unbeaten streak to eight to open the season.

\nSCSU pushed the pace offensively, especially in the first half with the Huskies recording two of its three corner kicks and four shots on goal in the first 45 minutes, but the USF goalkeeper made three saves with one team save.
\n\u00a0
\nIn the second half, Strickland was able to turn away all three shots on goal from the Cougars to preserve the tie.

\n\tStrickland made three saves in her fifth shutout of the season.
\n\tJunior midfielder Grace Olson<\/a> (West Des Moines, Iowa) led the team in three shots and one shot on goal.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

\n\tWith the tie, SCSU moves to 11-1-3 all-time Sioux Falls.
\n\tSCSU’s four straight shutouts are the most since five consecutive shutout victories from Nov. 1 \u2013 Nov. 13, 2019.
\n\tThe Huskies have held their opponents scoreless for 391 consecutive minutes.
\n\tThe win pushes SCSU’s unbeaten streak to eight to start the 2025 campaign, extending its program-record best start to a season.
\n\tStrickland recorded her fifth shutout of the season and her 13th career blank sheet. She moves into fifth-place in program history in career shutouts, pulling even with Evie Kohn (2019-22).
\n\tFive Huskies \u2013 Strickland, sophomore midfielder Darby Allen<\/a> (Minnetonka, Minn.), senior midfielder Brooke Quam<\/a> (Lakeville, Minn.), junior defender Ana Spaine<\/a> (West Des Moines, Iowa) and sophomore defender Izzy Halunen<\/a> (Woodbury, Minn.) \u2013 played a full 90 minutes in the game. <\/p>\n
