\nSaint Francis women’s golf continues its fall season at the Evan Park Memorial\u00a0on Sunday and Monday hosted by Mercyhurst. Teams will play 18 continuous holes both days of the invitational at Lake View Country Club. Along with the Red Flash, Manhattan, Niagra, Niagara, LaSalle,\u00a0Maryland Eastern Shore, host Mercyhurst\u00a0will be making their way to the tee box. Taking the course\u00a0for the Red Flash are\u00a0McKenzie Gustas<\/a>, Robbin Zetrouer<\/a>, Camille Gagnon<\/a>, Bryn Sorge<\/a>, Abigail McCorkell<\/a>, and Samantha Pryzbys.<\/p>\n
\nGustas led to way for Saint Francis women’s golf carding a two-round score of 152\u00a0(+8), with a score of 74 after the first round and 78 after the second. Gustas\u00a0recorded 25 pars and two birdies after completing the\u00a036 holes.\u00a0Gagnon\u00a0followed behind Gustas, placing ninth as an individual, with a two-round score of 153 (+9). Gagnon\u00a0carded a score of 77 after\u00a0the first round and 76 after the second. Gagnon recorded\u00a022 pars and three birdies after completing the 36 holes.\u00a0Also adding to the Red Flash’s team score was\u00a0Zetrouer\u00a0(16th place, 156),\u00a0Sorge\u00a0(20th place, 158),\u00a0Meghan Zambruno<\/a>\u00a0(25th place, 161), and\u00a0McCorkell\u00a0(37th place, 168). Along with Gagnon for Saint Francis,\u00a0Przybys\u00a0(47th place, 188),\u00a0Sophia Buday<\/a>\u00a0(48th place, 195), and\u00a0Marlana Krug<\/a>\u00a0(49th place, 223) all competed as individuals. Saint Francis finished in third place overall as a team following the event.<\/p>\n
\nThe Red Flash will next compete in its home event,\u00a0Red Flash\u00a0Invitational\u00a0in Johnstown, Pa., at Sunnehanna Country Club\u00a0October 5-6. \u00a0<\/p>\n
\nSaint Francis added Ciara McLaughlin<\/a> and Robbin Zetrouer<\/a>\u00a0to the 2025-2026 roster. \u00a0<\/p>\n
\nCascino is in the fifth season of his third stint with the Red Flash and 13th overall. He was the women’s golf head coach from 2005-12, for the\u00a02017 season, and 2020-current. Saint Francis was successful in his first go-around with the women’s golf program, leading the Red Flash to two consecutive Northeast Conference (NEC) Championships (2006 & 2007). In addition, he helped Saint Francis finish in the Top 3 of the conference postseasons in his first four seasons in Loretto. His son Lukas has joined the men’s golf team for the 2023-24 season.\u00a0
