Mackenzie and Patmont secured an opening round bye in the upcoming individual regional tournament as the No. 7 seed.<\/p>\n<p>Emery Christensen and Kinsey Briscoe grabbed the Tigers\u2019 final points with a 7-5 win in doubles.<\/p>\n<p>The Tigers beat the Grizzlies in the regular season, 10-8.<\/p>\n<p>UP NEXT: The individual portion of the Class 4A North regional tournament begins Oct. 14 at Bishop Manogue High School.<\/p>\n<p>CARSON VOLLEYBALL DEFEATS DAMONTE IN FOUR<\/p>\n<p>The Carson High volleyball team took down league foe Damonte Ranch on Wednesday in four sets, 16-25, 25-16, 25-20, 28-26.<\/p>\n<p>The win put Carson at 19-5 with a 4-1 record in Class 5A North Sierra League play.<\/p>\n<p>UP NEXT: Carson hosted Bishop Manogue (18-6, 5-0) for Senior Night on Thursday. The Senators have next week off from any scheduled contests. The Colts won the first meeting, 8-3.<\/p>\n<p>GALENA SOCCER POWERS PAST DOUGLAS<\/p>\n<p>The Galena High girls soccer team beat Douglas on Wednesday, 8-0.<\/p>\n<p>On the boys side, the Grizzlies downed the Tigers, 2-0.<\/p>\n<p>UP NEXT: The Douglas girls (2-8-1, 0-5 in Class 4A North Sierra League play) hosted Bishop Manogue (8-2-1, 3-2) on Thursday.
