The Toronto Argonauts’ faint playoff hopes were dealt a tough blow with an injury to starting quarterback Nick Arbuckle. <\/p>\n
On the first drive of the game, Arbuckle was sacked by Hamilton Tiger-Cats defensive lineman Philip Ossai. <\/p>\n
The Argonauts quarterback went into the medical tent and eventually was seen on the sideline with a sling on his right arm. <\/p>\n
Jarret Doege would replace Arbuckle at quarterback and threw an interception on his third drive, which eventually led to a touchdown for the Tiger-Cats. <\/p>\n
Toronto faced a 24-6 deficit in the second quarter and requires a victory to avoid elimination from the playoffs. The Argos also need one of Calgary, B.C. or Winnipeg to lose their remaining games in order to avoid a West team from crossing over and taking third place in the East Division.<\/p>\n
