Global Fight League [GFL] will officially launch in 2026, according to the promotion\u2019s latest statement. <\/p>\n

The new MMA promotion snapped up a ton of talent with the promise of two shows in May.<\/p>\n

GFL<\/a>\u2018s future has been up in the air since those events were cancelled<\/a> due to a lack of investment. <\/p>\n

After several months of silence, the potential UFC rival has posted a positive update about its future. <\/p>\n

On Sunday, GFL got the attention of MMA fans by suggesting the promotion will finally launch in 2026.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo the athletes, fans, and partners, thank you for your patience and support,\u201d GFL tweeted.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve been hard at work and look forward to sharing what\u2019s next. <\/p>\n

MMA fans react to GFL news<\/p>\n

It\u2019s fair to say MMA fans didn\u2019t take the news of GFL\u2019s potential revival very seriously. <\/p>\n

\u201cTwitter needs a laugh button for posts like this! I\u2019ll believe it when I see it,\u201d one fan said. While another added: \u201cMan, gtfo we rocking with Misfits MMA now.\u201d<\/p>\n
