Walton Goggins\u2019 fame reached an even higher plane following his appearance in season 3 of \u201cThe White Lotus.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

But with that comes the potential for more backlash.<\/p>\n

Comedian Pete Davidson<\/a>, who knows a thing or two about the highs and lows of fame, issued a warning of sorts to Goggins as he\u2019s riding a popularity high.<\/p>\n

\u201cLook at Pedro Pascal right now. Two years ago, he\u2019s a hardworking, great actor… Everyone was like, he\u2019s worked so hard and has been a struggling actor,\u201d Davidson said last week during an appearance on Theo Von\u2019s podcast,<\/a>\u00a0adding that then Pascal \u201cfucking blows up so fucking hard.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then a year later, he\u2019s in everything now,\u201d Davidson said, prompting fans to be like \u201d\u2018Go the fuck away, dude.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Next, \u201cthey\u2019re gonna do it with Walton Goggins,\u201d the former \u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d star said, adding that fans are \u201cso fast to turn.\u201d<\/p>\n

Goggins heard about Davidson\u2019s comments and responded to them in kind on his Instagram page.<\/p>\n

\u201cI saw this article and had to respond. (Pete was talking about his own experience),\u201d Goggins said on Monday<\/a>, next to a screenshot of an article covering Davidson\u2019s comments.<\/p>\n

\u201cPete we don\u2019t know each other but I appreciate the heads up,\u201d he wrote, later adding that \u201cAs a 53 yr old I\u2019m acutely aware that every experience has a shelf life. I appreciate so many of you going on this journey with me. I imagine a lot of you (and I don\u2019t blame you) are tired of hearing my homilies. Trust me I\u2019m tired of saying them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Goggins went on to share that \u201cbeing included in this headline isn\u2019t a curse it\u2019s a blessing.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHow lucky am I that this is even a possibility?!!\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Goggins, who has been in Hollywood for nearly three decades, seems to have a pretty healthy relationship with fame.<\/p>\n

When asked by The Guardian<\/a> earlier this year if he would \u201cchoose fame or anonymity,\u201d the actor had a perfectly breezy response.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I can get a reservation at a restaurant that I want to go to, I\u2019ll choose fame,\u201d he quipped.<\/p>\n
