{"id":194135,"date":"2025-10-07T00:23:07","date_gmt":"2025-10-07T00:23:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/194135\/"},"modified":"2025-10-07T00:23:07","modified_gmt":"2025-10-07T00:23:07","slug":"rumor-killer-on-shane-mcmahons-potential-wwe-return","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/194135\/","title":{"rendered":"Rumor Killer On Shane McMahon&#8217;s Potential WWE Return"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Despite what you may have heard, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wrestlezone.com\/tag\/shane-mcmahon\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Shane McMahon<\/a> isn\u2019t scheduled for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wrestlezone.com\/tag\/wwe\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">WWE<\/a> return at the moment.<\/p>\n<p>While the term \u201cnever say never\u201d is thrown out a lot in the world of professional wrestling, some comebacks just seem a bit unrealistic. <\/p>\n<p>Earlier today on social media, multiple WWE fan accounts posted that Shane McMahon has \u201creappeared\u201d on the active roster of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wwe.com\/superstars\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">WWE\u2019s official website<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>While this immediately resulted in speculation that Shane McMahon could return to WWE as soon as tonight\u2019s episode of RAW, that\u2019s just not happening. In the words of Wade Barrett, I\u2019m afraid I have some bad news. <\/p>\n<p>While it\u2019s true that Shane McMahon is listed on the active WWE roster page, this isn\u2019t something that recently occurred. McMahon has been listed on the active roster page for quite some time. This is merely a case of a fan account being misinformed and others picking it up and running with the inaccurate information. <\/p>\n<p>So if you were hoping to see Shane O Mac return to WWE tonight on RAW, we\u2019re sorry. It\u2019s not going to happen. <\/p>\n<p>Shane McMahon spoke with AEW\u2019s Tony Khan<\/p>\n<p>Last Summer, it was reported that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wrestlezone.com\/news\/1492897-tony-khan-met-with-shane-mcmahon-this-week-to-discuss-possibilities-moving-forward\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tony Khan and Shane McMahon had a meeting<\/a> at an airport in Texas. Fans were convinced at that point that McMahon would eventually appear on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wrestlezone.com\/tag\/all-elite-wrestling\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">AEW<\/a> programming. However, nothing came from the meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Despite fan speculation, there were never any plans for Shane McMahon to appear on AEW programming.
