NASCAR has \u201cfiled a motion\u201d with the U.S. District Court \u201casking that it order a settlement conference\u201d between itself and 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports in the sides\u2019 ongoing lawsuit<\/a>. The motion stated, \u201cThe parties have indicated a willingness to resolve this case and have attempted to do so through mediation and settlement conferences. Other Charter holders have now indicated that their desire is that this litigation be resolved.\u201d The antitrust trial \u201cis set to begin\u201d Dec. 1. NASCAR acknowledged in its motion that \u201cthe parties have exhausted\u201d previous attempts to this point to reach a resolution, which \u201cincludes court-ordered mediation.\u201d NASCAR has requested that the court \u201cappoint a judicial officer, such as Judge Kenneth Bell, who is overseeing the case, or another individual to preside over the conference.” However, 23XI and Front Row \u201cdisagree\u201d (RACER, 10\/6<\/a>). <\/p>\n
