\n\t\u201cSouth Park<\/a>\u201d kicked off its 27th season on Wednesday night, and in the debut episode, Trey Parker and Matt Stone literally put Donald Trump<\/a> in the White House and in bed with the Devil. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe Season 27 premiere, titled \u201cSermon on the \u2018Mount,\u201d sees the quiet mountain town of South Park aflame. Cartman is depressed over the end of his favorite radio program, NPR, Randy is trying to stop Jesus from taking over South Park Elementary and the President is too busy arresting and suing his enemies to care. An angry mob breaks down Mr. Garrison\u2019s door to confront him about his lack of accountability during these troubling times, but when they get there, Garrison reveals he hasn\u2019t been in office for years.<\/p>\n

\n\tCut to the White House, where a talking head of Trump is running amok. We see him in the Oval Office arguing with the Canadian Prime Minister, who asks him, \u201cWhy are you placing these new tariffs on Canada? What are you, some kind of dictator from the Middle East?\u201d Trump quips back, \u201cYou don\u2019t want me to bomb you like I did Iraq!\u201d The Prime Minister responds, \u201cI thought you just bombed Iran?\u201d Trump replies, \u201cIran, Iraq, what the hells the difference? Relax guy!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tA few moments later, we see Trump undress and cozy up in bed with Satan, insinuating that he wants to have sex. Satan turns him down, but Trump persists, \u201cCome on Satan, I\u2019ve been working hard all day.\u201d Satan snaps back, \u201cYou haven\u2019t been working! You\u2019ve been doing your stupid memes and just fucking around.\u201d Trump pushes further, \u201cCome on Satan, you know you can\u2019t resist this!\u201d Trump then pulls down his blanket, revealing a comically small penis. Satan then says, \u201cI can\u2019t even see anything, it\u2019s so small.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile the new season of \u201cSouth Park\u201d is now underway, the show hit a few roadblocks in the rollout of its 27th edition. On July 2, Paramount pushed the Season 27 premiere<\/a> by two weeks, from July 9 to July 27. Days after the announcement, the official \u201cSouth Park\u201d X account released an expletive-laden statement blaming the Paramount-Skydance merger for the delay.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe statement read<\/a>, \u201cIn response to the press release from Comedy Central about the change in premiere date for \u2018South Park\u2019 Trey Parker and Matt Stone said \u2013 \u2018This merger is a shit show and it\u2019s fucking up \u201cSouth Park.\u201d We are at the studio working on new episodes and we hope the fans get to see them somehow.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tParker and Stone also accused Paramount president, Jeff Shell, of meddling with their contract negotiations with Netflix and Warner Bros.. At the same time, according to a story from The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount, Parker and Stone had set out a $3 billion deal that spanned over a decade. However, Skydance, which is currently merging with Paramount, reportedly backed out of the agreement.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Wednesday, however, Paramount and the \u201cSouth Park\u201d camp came to terms. Under a new pact<\/a>, Paramount ordered 50 new episodes and secured streaming rights for all 26 previous seasons for Paramount+. Season 27 will air on Comedy Central, and then come to Paramount+ the next day.<\/p>\n
