{"id":197364,"date":"2025-10-08T11:14:09","date_gmt":"2025-10-08T11:14:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/197364\/"},"modified":"2025-10-08T11:14:09","modified_gmt":"2025-10-08T11:14:09","slug":"brooklyn-nets-to-hold-youth-clinics-help-revitalise-basketball-courts-in-hong-kong","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/197364\/","title":{"rendered":"Brooklyn Nets to hold youth clinics, help revitalise basketball courts in Hong Kong"},"content":{"rendered":"<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">The Brooklyn Nets will host a series of youth clinics across Hong Kong and Macau as part of the return of the NBA to China this week.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">As part of the team\u2019s commitment to growing the game globally and supporting local communities, the Nets also said they would support the revitalisation of basketball courts in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">According to a release on Wednesday, 13 clinics will be held across multiple venues in the two Greater Bay Area cities around the two pre-season games between the Nets and the Phoenix Suns at The Venetian Arena on Friday and Sunday.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">One of the clinics, which the statement called \u201can interactive fan event and immersive basketball experience celebrating the convergence of the game, music, fashion and technology\u201d, will be held at the NBA House in Macau.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">Additionally, Brooklyn Sports &amp; Entertainment, parent company of the Nets and the WNBA\u2019s New York Liberty, is seeking opportunities to revitalise basketball courts in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"The Nets (in black) and the Suns will play at The Venetian Arena on Friday and Sunday.
