Philadelphia, PA\u00a0\u2014\u00a0La Salle men’s soccer lost Wednesday afternoon by a score of 1-0 to the Davidson Wildcats. With\u00a0the result, La Salle moves to 1-4-6 overall (0-2-2 A-10), while the visiting team improves to 4-5-2 (2-1-2) overall.<\/p>\n

The lone goal was scored\u00a0in the 30th minute by Nicholas Alvaro Zeballos, poking a low strike past La Salle senior goalie Tino Kneis<\/a>.<\/p>\n

La Salle was outshot by the Wildcats 22-9 overall, and 7-4 on shots on goal. The Explorers’ best chance came in the 62nd minute, when junior defender Sasha Rabala’s<\/a> header was saved by the Wildcats goalie Lucas Beltran.<\/p>\n

The Explorers\u00a0return to action this weekend, playing Loyola Chicago in another home match at McCarthy Stadium.
