Tonight, the Los Angeles Dodgers are one win away from advancing to the NLCS. However, they do so with an injury-prone pitching staff, which hurts their chances to win the entire thing.<\/p>\n

Win or lose, addressing the durability of their bullpen is a top priority for them this offseason. Bleacher Report\u2019s Kerry Miller<\/a> believes they will, as he believes they will pursue New York Mets stud reliever Tyler Rogers.<\/p>\n

Everyone’s favorite submariner, the late-blooming Tyler Rogers will hit free agency for the first time in his career, turning 35 this December. He made an MLB-high 81 appearances this season, and has now been summoned from the bullpen 30 more times than the next-closest pitcher, dating back to 2020. He’s not a strikeout guy, but he’s durable and reliable\u2026”Durable” and “reliable” are two words I wouldn’t dream of using to describe the Dodgers bullpen in 2025, so it’s easy to see why they might make this setup man one of their top priorities this winter,\u201d Miller wrote.<\/p>\n

This season, Rogers posted a 1.98 ERA, 48 Ks, and a WHIP of 0.944 over 77 innings with the San Francisco Giants and the Mets. He was a deadline acquisition for the Mets, who were hoping he would be enough to get them to the playoffs, which didn\u2019t end up happening.<\/p>\n

As for the Dodgers, getting someone like Rogers would be great. He appeared in a career-high 81 games, and his low ERA and WHIP prove that he is a quality pitcher, even if he doesn\u2019t strike people out.<\/p>\n

Hopefully, the Dodgers give him a ring this offseason and pursue him to make sure they have at least one arm in the bullpen that they can count on.<\/p>\n
