According to fans in attendance, Ibushi\u2019s leg buckled, and he was promptly checked on by officials. After some time, Ibushi had to be stretched off and into the back. <\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Ibushi had a bit of a nasty bump to the outside<br \/>Hopefully he\u2019s ok<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Jacob Cohen (@MrJacobCohen) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MrJacobCohen\/status\/1976091305664184829?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">October 9, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Shortly after the injury, lights went out in the building, and AEW\u2019s Tony Khan came out. Khan thanked fans for being patient and respectful, and confirmed Ibushi\u2019s injury. He said injuries happen and then led the crowd in a chant for Ibushi. <\/p>\n<p>Kota Ibushi first joined AEW in 2023 and has, unfortunately, had a string of injuries throughout his time with the company. He suffered injuries in 2024 and earlier this year, before returning in June. It\u2019s currently unclear how serious Ibushi\u2019s injury is.
