Serie A runners-up Inter Milan maintain the highest wage bill in Italy\u2019s top flight despite a slight reduction compared to the previous season.<\/p>\n

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews<\/a>, the club\u2019s decreased wage expenditures have not changed its position in the standings.<\/p>\n

Despite cutting ties with Mehdi Taremi, Marko Arnautovic, Benjamin Pavard, and Joaquin Correa, Inter\u2019s wage bill remains the highest in Serie A.<\/p>\n

However, Beppe Marotta<\/a> and his associates are keen to trim costs, relying on a new transfer policy.<\/p>\n

Inter focused on cost-effective signings over the summer, acquiring the likes of Ange-Yoan Bonny<\/a> and Petar Sucic, among others.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, their direct Scudetto rivals were far more aggressive in their recruitment.<\/p>\n

For example, Napoli have experienced a dramatic increase in their wage bill.<\/p>\n

Indeed, their salary spending has jumped from \u20ac92 million last season to nearly \u20ac135 million this year.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s mainly thanks to Kevin De Bruyne\u2019s arrival from Manchester City.<\/p>\n
