Hoping we can get all the support possible for this one.&#8221;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nLAST TIME OUT<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe Waves scored late in a 1-0 victory over projected conference champs Santa Clara Wednesday night.\u00a0&#13;<br \/>\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/pepperdinewaves.com\/sports\/womens-soccer\/roster\/tabitha-laparl\/5505\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"5505\" target=\"_blank\">Tabitha LaParl<\/a> saw her third goal of the year in the second consecutive match.\u00a0\u00a0&#13;<br \/>\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/pepperdinewaves.com\/sports\/womens-soccer\/roster\/jillian-medvecky\/5508\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"5508\" target=\"_blank\">Jillian Medvecky<\/a> recorded her sixth shutout of the year with five saves on the night.&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\nGAME NOTES<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n&#13;<br \/>\n\tPepperdine leads the conference with 32 goals scored by 13 different players.&#13;<br \/>\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/pepperdinewaves.com\/sports\/womens-soccer\/roster\/julia-quinonez\/5512\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"5512\" target=\"_blank\">Julia Quinonez<\/a> leads the squad with eight goals, while <a href=\"https:\/\/pepperdinewaves.com\/sports\/womens-soccer\/roster\/tatum-wynalda\/5517\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"5517\" target=\"_blank\">Tatum Wynalda<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/pepperdinewaves.com\/sports\/womens-soccer\/roster\/tabitha-laparl\/5505\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"5505\" target=\"_blank\">Tabitha LaParl<\/a> share the top-assist spot with six apiece.&#13;<br \/>\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/pepperdinewaves.com\/sports\/womens-soccer\/roster\/ariana-markey\/5549\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"5549\" target=\"_blank\">Ariana Markey<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/pepperdinewaves.com\/sports\/womens-soccer\/roster\/alex-pendleton\/5510\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"5510\" target=\"_blank\">Alex Pendleton<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/pepperdinewaves.com\/sports\/womens-soccer\/roster\/layla-simon\/5551\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"5551\" target=\"_blank\">Layla Simon<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/pepperdinewaves.com\/sports\/womens-soccer\/roster\/sarah-spears\/5515\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"5515\" target=\"_blank\">Sarah Spears<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/pepperdinewaves.com\/sports\/womens-soccer\/roster\/lily-stewart\/5516\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"5516\" target=\"_blank\">Lily Stewart<\/a> have all scored their first collegiate goals this season.&#13;<br \/>\n\tThrough 12 matches, Quinonez leads the team in points with 19, scoring eight goals and notching three assists.&#13;<br \/>\n\tSurpassing her stats from two seasons ago where she was the WCC Freshman of the Year, Quinonez is tied for first in the WCC with eight goals.&#13;<br \/>\n\tAs one of the captains leading the team through 11 matches, <a href=\"https:\/\/pepperdinewaves.com\/sports\/womens-soccer\/roster\/kyra-murphy\/5509\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"5509\" target=\"_blank\">Kyra Murphy<\/a> cemented her name in the record books with five straight matches with a goal or assist\u00a0 (9\/7 &#8211; 10\/4), tying for third in program history.&#13;<br \/>\n\tWith 19 starts and six goals throughout her collegiate career entering this season, Murphy has over doubled her career points, with 13 so far this season.&#13;<br \/>\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/pepperdinewaves.com\/sports\/womens-soccer\/roster\/tatum-wynalda\/5517\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"5517\" target=\"_blank\">Tatum Wynalda<\/a> with a .667 on-goal shot percentage, sits at 10th in the nation for accuracy.&#13;<br \/>\n\tTied for first on the squad with six assists, Wynalda has had a hand in nearly one-third of the Waves goals with four herself.&#13;<br \/>\n\tWynalda is tied with LaParl to lead Pepperdine with two match-winning goals, both coming in conference matchups against Seattle and Pacific.&#13;<br \/>\n\tStarting in every game, <a href=\"https:\/\/pepperdinewaves.com\/sports\/womens-soccer\/roster\/jillian-medvecky\/5508\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"5508\" target=\"_blank\">Jillian Medvecky<\/a>\u00a0 has collected 47 saves this season, averaging just under four a match.&#13;<br \/>\n\tLast season, Medvecky secured four shutouts with a goals against average of 1.10 per match.&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nSERIES HISTORY<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tIn 32 matches with Gonzaga, Pepperdine holds the advantage with an overall record of 21-7-4.&#13;<br \/>\n\tIn Malibu, the Waves are 13-3 with the last matchup at Tari Frahm resulting in a 1-3 loss.\u00a0&#13;<br \/>\n\tLast season in Spokane, Pepperdine knocked off the reigning conference champs 4-3.&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe last win at home for the Waves came in 2021 with a shutout score of 3-0 as Pepperdine looks to remain perfect in conference play.&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\nSCOUTING THE BULLDOGS<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThrough 12 matches, Gonzaga is 5-7, including 3-1 in conference play.&#13;<br \/>\n\tLast time out, the Bulldogs beat LMU 3-0.&#13;<br \/>\n\tGonzaga has outscored their opponents 9-1 through four conference matches.&#13;<br \/>\n\tAmelia Severn and Katelyn Rigg lead the team with five goals apiece, including three game winners for Servern, while Severn and Samantha Snorsky are tied leading the Zags in assists with four.&#13;<br \/>\n\tGonzaga has outscored their opponent 19-18 so far this season.&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\nThe match against the Zags will kickoff at noon Saturday afternoon on Tari Frahm Rokus Field. To honor Hispanic Heritage Month, commemorative totes will be given to the first 50 fans in attendance.
