{"id":201397,"date":"2025-10-10T00:24:10","date_gmt":"2025-10-10T00:24:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/201397\/"},"modified":"2025-10-10T00:24:10","modified_gmt":"2025-10-10T00:24:10","slug":"mlb-announces-start-times-for-games-1-2-of-alcs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/201397\/","title":{"rendered":"MLB announces start times for Games 1, 2 of ALCS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsnet.ca\/baseball\/mlb\/teams\/toronto-blue-jays\/\" class=\"sn-team-post-link\" target=\"_self\" data-team=\"toronto-blue-jays\" data-league=\"mlb\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Toronto Blue Jays<\/a> now know when they will be opening the American League Championship Series.<\/p>\n<p>MLB announced the first times of the schedule for the next round of the playoffs.<\/p>\n<p>The Blue Jays will host the Detroit Tigers or Seattle Mariners in Game 1 of the ALCS on Sunday at 8:08 p.m. ET\/ 5:08 p.m. PT. The game will be available on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+.<\/p>\n<p>The start time for Game 2 on Monday depends on the results in the National League Division Series.<\/p>\n<p>Game 2 will be at 5:03 p.m. ET\/ 2:03 p.m. PT if the Milwaukee Brewers advance to the NLCS, which will begin later that night at 8:08 p.m. ET\/ 5:08 p.m. PT.<\/p>\n<p>If the Chicago Cubs eliminate the Brewers and advance, Game 2 of the ALCS will be at 4:38 p.m. ET\/ 1:38 p.m. PT and Game 1 of the NLCS will follow at 7:08 p.m. ET\/ 4:08 p.m. PT.<\/p>\n<p>Game 2 of the NLCS will then be on Tuesday at 8:08 p.m. ET\/ 5:08 p.m. PT.<\/p>\n<p>The Blue Jays advanced to their first ALCS since 2016 with a Game 4 win over the New York Yankees on Wednesday.
