{"id":201587,"date":"2025-10-10T02:17:08","date_gmt":"2025-10-10T02:17:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/201587\/"},"modified":"2025-10-10T02:17:08","modified_gmt":"2025-10-10T02:17:08","slug":"ronnie-stanton-joins-evanov-as-senior-brand-manager","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/201587\/","title":{"rendered":"Ronnie Stanton joins Evanov as Senior Brand Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Veteran programmer Ronnie Stanton is on the move, set to join Evanov Communications as Senior Brand Manager for their GTA stations\u00a0Z103.5 (CIDC-FM) and Lite 92.1 (CKPC-FM).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/broadcastdialogue.com\/ronnie-stanton-joins-rogers-sports-media\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Since late last year<\/a>, Stanton has been leading Classic Hits programming nationally at Rogers Sports &amp; Media, in addition to serving as Content Director for JACK FM (CJAX-FM) and the <a href=\"https:\/\/broadcastdialogue.com\/kiss-throwbacks-format-launches-on-former-metro-vancouver-sonic-radio-stations\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">recently-rebranded<\/a> KiSS Throwbacks (CKKS-FM) in Vancouver.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to that, he served as Chief Content Officer for Virgin Radio International, working with the brand\u2019s operations in Canada, the UK, Switzerland, Italy, Turkey, Oman, Romania, Lebanon, and\u00a0 the UAE.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>His experience in Canadian radio includes serving as Vice-President, Audio at Corus Entertainment, <a href=\"https:\/\/broadcastdialogue.com\/ronnie-stanton-upped-to-vp-audio-at-corus\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">where he oversaw<\/a> 39 AM\/FM stations and the Curiouscast Podcast Network. His second stint with Corus Radio, he initially joined the company in 2013 as a talent coach and Brand Director for CFOX Vancouver, before being promoted to VP of National Brands and Programming.<\/p>\n<p>After leaving in 2016 to work as VP of Content at\u00a0Alpha Media\u00a0in the U.S., and later as Regional Content Director for Grant Broadcasters on Australia\u2019s Sunshine Coast, Stanton returned to Corus in early 2020. He has also held the role of Operations Manager and Brand Director for Astral Media\u2019s Vancouver cluster, which included\u00a0Virgin Radio\u00a0(CFBT-FM),\u00a0Shore 104\u00a0(CHLG-FM) and\u00a0AM 650\u00a0(CISL-AM).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRonnie\u2019s multi-platform leadership\u2014spanning broadcast, podcasting, and digital audio\u2014aligns perfectly with where ECI is headed,\u201d said Lars Wunsche, ECI Executive Vice President, in an Evanov announcement. \u201cAs we expand audience and revenue across radio, streaming, social, and on-demand, his depth\u00a0 of experience and proven ability to elevate brands are exactly what we currently need.
