Saranac Lake’s head coach, Jason Wamsganz, said it was a great team win.

“I was pleased with every phase of the game,” he said. “We moved the ball well and moved off the ball well; it opened players up and we played very unselfishly. We really need to capitalize on chances; we had a lot of great opportunities and didn’t finish the way that we needed to. They’ll work at it and we’ll do better.”

Brunette also scored the first goal of the game after taking a cross pass from Layne Locke less than eight minutes into the game.
