\n\tDespite the already long list of returning MCU<\/a> stars in Avengers: Doomsday<\/a>, don\u2019t expect Andrew Garfield<\/a> to swing by for a cameo.<\/p>\n

\n\tAlthough Marvel<\/a> stars are usually sworn to secrecy about their involvement in a project, the 2x Oscar nominee left no confusion about whether or not he and Tobey Maguire<\/a> would be back as Spider-Man<\/a> in the upcoming superhero team-up, premiering Dec. 18, 2026.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cNo, unequivocally fucking no,\u201d said Garfield while answering fan questions in a video for GQ<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tFollowing his tenure as Peter Parker in Sony\u2019s The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and its 2014 sequel, Garfield joined predecessor Maguire in reprising their shared role alongside Tom Holland in Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021).<\/p>\n

\n\tGarfield had to outright deny his involvement in the movie back then for the sake of avoiding spoilers, but since its release, he\u2019s said he \u201cwould 100% come back<\/a>\u201d for another round as Peter Parker. He\u2019s also noted the project \u201cwould have to be very weird<\/a>,\u201d referencing the \u201ccreative freedom\u201d of the animated Spider-Verse<\/a> films.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIn January, Garfield told GQ\u2018s UK counterpart not to expect him<\/a> in the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/a> either. \u201cI\u2019m gonna disappoint you. Yeah, no.
