Liverpool\u2019s fixtures have hit a well-timed pause thanks to the international break, and that gives us a chance to look at the current injury situation.<\/p>\n

Liverpool signed off for the international break in a manner that left many thankful for the opportunity to switch off and think about something else.<\/p>\n

Arne Slot<\/a>\u2018s men will have little time to waste when they return, though, with Man United<\/a>\u2018s visit on October 19 starting a run of seven games in 22 days.<\/p>\n

With a few updates throughout the break so far, let\u2019s take a look at the current injury list.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Alisson \u2013 Hamstring<\/p>\n

Availability: Out until after November international break<\/p>\n

The Brazilian suffered another hamstring injury at Galatasaray and is not expected to be available until after the November international break.<\/p>\n

The 33-year-old will, therefore, miss two Champions League<\/a> ties away to Frankfurt and at home to Real Madrid<\/a>, plus league games with Man United<\/a>, Brentford<\/a>, Aston Villa<\/a> and Man City<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It is an issue Liverpool will be keen to get to the bottom of, and they will be cautious with Alisson<\/a> to avoid any re-injury, as was the case last season.<\/p>\n

Andy Robertson \u2013 Unknown<\/p>\n

Availability: Man United<\/a> \u2013 Oct 19 <\/p>\n

The Scot limped off the pitch at Stamford Bridge to trigger concerns over his fitness, but he allayed fears of any injury by playing 90 minutes for Scotland on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Robertson has trained as normal with his national team and barring any issue against Belarus on Sunday, he will be available for Liverpool on the return of domestic action. <\/p>\n

Ibrahima Konate \u2013 Quad<\/p>\n

Availability: Possible vs. Man United<\/a><\/p>\n

Konate \u201cfelt his quad a little bit\u201d against Chelsea<\/a> but still reported for France duty. After tests he has remained with his national side, in a positive sign for his prognosis. <\/p>\n

As of Thursday, he managed<\/a> a light jog and trained without any apparent discomfort after initially joining the main group before going off to complete his individual programme. <\/p>\n

France will not take a risk with the centre-back, but that he was not immediately sent back to Merseyside suggests his issue is not serious. It all suggests he has a chance of playing against United. <\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Wataru Endo \u2013 Unspecified<\/p>\n

Availability: Unknown<\/p>\n

Endo was withdrawn from Japan\u2019s squad with an unspecified injury after making a brief cameo off the bench against Chelsea<\/a>.<\/p>\n

No further information has surfaced as to his fitness issue, with it more likely to emerge towards the end of next week. <\/p>\n

Giovanni Leoni \u2013 ACL<\/p>\n

Availability: Ruled out of season<\/p>\n

A dream debut turned into a nightmare injury for the teenager, with his ACL tear meaning he will not return until next season.<\/p>\n

Slot said of the injury: \u201cBeing so young, coming to a new country, doing so well in his first game, it\u2019s very hard to take the positives.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou always try to look at a positive side and that is he is still so young and has so many years to go after he recovers from a terrible injury like that.\u201d <\/p>\n

Jayden Danns \u2013 Hamstring<\/p>\n

Availability: Extended spell on sidelines <\/p>\n

Danns suffered a hamstring injury while taking a free-kick for the U21s at the end of last month, which This Is Anfield understands will result in a lengthy layoff.<\/p>\n

Some sources have indicated a grade three hamstring tear with claims the teenager would require surgery, though this is as yet unconfirmed. If so, his absence would extend to months.<\/p>\n

Will Wright \u2013 Knee<\/p>\n

Availability: Out for two months<\/p>\n

The striker sustained knee ligament damage playing for the academy and that is expected to keep him out for two months.<\/p>\n
