BERKELEY, Calif. (Oct. 10, 2025) \u2013 Washington State sophomore Martina Puvill<\/a> captured two singles victories to advance to the main draw at the 2025 ITA Northwest Regional, Friday at the Hellman Tennis Center.

\nIn the qualifying draw, Puvill had no trouble advancing through to the main draw following a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Eastern Washington’s Maria Lopez Gomez. In her second match, she cruised past Seattle University’s Daria Nazarenko, 6-2, 6-2.
\n\u00a0
\nIn doubles play, WSU’s Chisato Kanemaki<\/a> and Zali Morris<\/a> fell to UC Davis’ Mika Ikemori and Polina Marakhtanova, 8-3, in the first round.

\nMain draw singles and second round doubles action gets underway Saturday in Berkeley.
