Mandatory Credit: Kim Klement-Imagn Images\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Photo credit: Kim Klement-Imagn Images<\/p>\n<p>We just received an announcement from the Laval Rocket regarding two recent acquisitions by the Montreal Canadiens organization.<\/p>\n<p>This is a one-year contract for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.markerzone.com\/hockey\/stats\/nhl\/player\/Alex-Belzile-25225\" class=\"lien_marqueur\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"Alex Belzile profile and hockey stats\">Alex Belzile<\/a>, bringing him back to the Montreal Canadiens organization.<\/p>\n<p>That makes two returnees joining the organizational depth chart.<\/p>\n<p>Acquisitions of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.markerzone.com\/hockey\/stats\/nhl\/player\/Tobie-Bisson-35112\" class=\"lien_marqueur\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"Tobie Bisson profile and hockey stats\">Tobie Bisson<\/a> and Alex Belzile for the Montreal Canadiens organization: Laval Rocket just announced their jersey numbers<\/p>\n<p>See the announcement here:<\/p>\n<p>It looks like some Laval Rocket fans&#8217; jerseys just became relevant and up-to-date again! Belzile will be wearing number 22, while Bisson will reclaim number 4.<\/p>\n<p>Alex Belzile, 33 years old, signed a two-way contract with the Montreal Canadiens.<\/p>\n<p>He recorded 56 points in 66 games last season with the New York Rangers&#8217; AHL affiliate (with 119 penalty minutes), and had 26 points in 31 games during his last season with the Laval Rocket in 2022-23.<\/p>\n<p>Also in 2022-23, he posted 14 points in 31 games with the Montreal Canadiens in the NHL.<\/p>\n<p>As for Tobie Bisson, he is 28 years old, a 6-foot-3, 207-pound left-shot defenseman from Rosem\u00e8re, Quebec. He tallied 14 points in 59 games last season with the Syracuse Crunch in the AHL.<\/p>\n<p>The previous season, he recorded 27 points in 69 games with the Laval Rocket, while maintaining an outstanding +21 plus-minus rating.<\/p>\n<p>These are strong additions for the Montreal Canadiens organization!<\/p>\n<p>Previously on HabsFanatics<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"PUBLICATION L.
