One suspect has been charged and another remains at-large following a series of retail robberies throughout Etobicoke over the summer.<\/p>\n
Toronto police say they responded to four incidents on May 29 and June 4. <\/p>\n
The first happened at a store located in the area of Royal York Road and Lake Shore Boulevard West<\/a> just before 10 p.m. <\/p>\n Police allege two suspects drove up in a vehicle, with one male suspect walking into the store with a mask to hide his identity. <\/p>\n He allegedly pulled out a handgun, demanded cash, and ran out of the store with some money before driving away in the awaiting vehicle.<\/p>\n Officers responded to the second incident at around 2:10 a.m. in the same area<\/a>, for a company alarm call. <\/p>\n In this case, authorities say two suspects drove to a store on a motorcycle. One male suspect allegedly walked into the store with a motorcycle helmet on, produced a handgun and demanded money. Police say he left with with an undisclosed quantity of cash before taking off in the awaiting motorcycle.<\/p>\n The third incident happened immediately after, police say, in the area of Royal York Road and The Queensway<\/a>. Authorities allege the same thing happened, involving two suspects with one male suspect wearing a motorcycle helmet and brandishing a handgun.<\/p>\n
