Nicknamed as the Classic of the falling (dead) leaves, it is the hardest and most mountainous amongst the five monuments. It features 238.8km and 8 categorized ascents, making it the ideal terrain for climbers. As usual in every race he participates in, <a href=\"https:\/\/cyclinguptodate.com\/tadej-pogacar\" title=\"Tadej Pogacar\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tadej Pogacar<\/a> comes as the undisputed favourite. He has won the previous four editions, and he is looking to finish off a historic season with another victory, which would be his 20th win in 2025. He will be surrounded by the strongest squad in the world, with <a href=\"https:\/\/cyclinguptodate.com\/isaac-del-toro\" title=\"Isaac del Toro\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Isaac del Toro<\/a> and Adam Yates as co-leaders in case something goes wrong with the Slovenian.
