Nadella shared the post just days after <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/topic\/openai\" styleobj=\"[object Object]\" class=\"\" commonstate=\"[object Object]\" frmappuse=\"1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">OpenAI<\/a> CEO Sam Altman accounted a major data centre deals. It appears that Nadella is reminding the tech industry that who is already ahead in the AI infrastructure race.<\/p>\n<p>Microsoft\u2019s AI factories: Built and scaling<\/p>\n<p>Each AI factory of Microsoft has a cluster of more than 4,600 Nvidia GB300 rack computers. The datacenter is also equipped with Blackwell Ultra GPUs and is connected via InfiniBand which is Invidia\u2019s ultra-fast networking technology. Along with this, the company is also planning to deploy hundreds of thousands of these GPUs globally. These GPUs will support the workloads from OpenAI and other frontier AI models.With over 300 data centers in 34 countries, Microsoft claims it is \u201cuniquely positioned\u201d to meet the demands of next-generation AI, including models with hundreds of trillions of parameters.<\/p>\n<p>OpenAI\u2019s billion-dollar buildout<\/p>\n<p>OpenAI, Microsoft\u2019s partner and the occasional competitor has reportedly committed $1 trillion to building its own data centers, signing deals with Nvidia and AMD.
