STOCKTON, California \u2013\u00a0Utah State’s golf team tied for 13th at 23-over 887 (307-286-294) at the Pacific-hosted Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational held here at The Reserve at Spanos Park.

\nPacific won the 17-team tournament at 47-under 817 (276-263-278), while the Tigers’ Felix Bouchard claimed medalist honors at 12-under 204 (69-66-69).

\nSophomore Toby Heider<\/a> was Utah State’s top finisher as he tied for 23rd at 2-under 214 (73-71-70) for his best-ever 54-hole score and best-ever finish. It is the third time he has finished a tournament under par, including the second time this fall. After carding a 1-over 73 during his first round, Heider shot a 1-under 71 during his second round and then fired a 2-under 70 during his final 18 holes to give him five rounds under par in his career, including three this fall.

\nSophomore Chase Goetschel<\/a> tied for 34th at 2-over 218 (78-71-69), which included back-to-back rounds under par as he shot a 1-under 71 during his second round and a 3-under 69 during his final 18 holes. Goetschel now has four rounds under par this fall, including two rounds in the 60s.

\nSophomore Noah Moody<\/a> tied for 70th at 8-over 224 (78-71-75). His best round of the tournament came during his second 18 holes as he carded a 1-under 71 for his third round under par this fall.

\nFreshman Eduardo Kuri<\/a> made his collegiate debut this weekend and finished tied for 86th at 15-over 231 (78-73-80). Fellow freshman Zach Skinner<\/a> tied for 93rd at 22-over 238 (81-77-80).

\nUtah State will conclude its fall season at the Monterrey Collegiate Classic, held in Monterrey, Mexico, on Friday and Saturday, Oc. 24-25.
