\n\tKristi Noem<\/a>\u2018s Department of Homeland Security and Pam Bondi have reacted to the latest \u201cSaturday Night Live<\/a>\u201d cold open, which saw Tina Fey<\/a> and Amy Poehler<\/a> parody the DHS Secretary and Attorney General, respectively. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201c[Kristi Noem], should we recreate this picture in Chicago?\u201d Bondi wrote on X Sunday, sharing a screenshot from the sketch. \u201cLoving Amy Poehler!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile Noem remained quiet, DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told Entertainment Weekly<\/a> of the cold open, \u201c\u2018SNL\u2019 is absolutely right \u2014 the Democrats\u2019 shutdown does need to end!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSNL\u2019s\u201d latest cold open <\/a>began with Poehler\u2019s Bondi defending her controversial Senate hearing earlier this week, which saw the AG get grilled about everything from the Epstein files to her involvement in James Comey\u2019s indictment.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m not going to discuss my private conversations with the president,\u201d Poehler as Bondi said. \u201cI\u2019m not telling you who fell asleep in the middle of a sentence, or who kept calling me Ivanka while patting his lap.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOf the Epstein files, Poehler joked, \u201cI tried reading the Epstein files, but I got really bored. It\u2019s so repetitive. \u2018Trump this, Trump that.\u2019 Yawn.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFey\u2019s Noem then entered frame, toting an assault rifle and wearing a DHS hat.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThat\u2019s right, it\u2019s me, Kristi,\u201d Fey\u2019s Noem said. \u201cI spell my name with an \u2018I\u2019 because that\u2019s how I thought it was spelled.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFey\u2019s Noem then gave some behind-the-scenes info on how she recruits people for ICE. She said, \u201cHow did I find them? By running ads like this: Do you need a job now? Yeah. Are you a big, tough guy? Yeah. Tough enough for the army or police? No. Do you take supplements that you bought at a gas station? Daily. Do you like to use zip ties because people in your life don\u2019t trust you with keys? You know it. Suck on some of these, big boy. Welcome to ICE.\u201d<\/p>\n
