The Ace’s championship parade is “planned for Oct. 17” (LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL, 10/10). In Minneapolis, Jim Souhan wrote a “little conflict is good for the sports business.” However, the WNBA “isn’t in conflict; it’s threatening its own progress, if not its own existence.” Souhan: “I don’t trust Engelbert, I’m hoping [Lynx F Napheesa] Collier will find a way to save the day.” What the WNBA is “facing is something closer to a nuclear winter” (MINNESOTA STAR TRIBUNE 10/11). Davis said on the CBA negotiations, “The last time I spoke about things like that, I got fined, so I think it’s better if I don’t say anything. I think they’ll work it out somehow. I hope. I haven’t been consulted” (ESPN.com, 10/11).

[629
49,48,82,630,4143
post-208981","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-wnba","tag-ca","tag-canada","tag-sports","tag-wnba","tag-womens-sports
["GET
