Ariana Grande has no plans to break free from her singing career.<\/p>\n
The \u201cWicked\u201d actor, 32, who is set to star in more upcoming Hollywood movies, says it\u2019s \u201csilly\u201d for fans to think she would quit music, which she calls her \u201clifeline,\u201d to focus on other projects.<\/p>\n
\u201cVery silly of you all to assume that just because i have my hands full with many things that i plan to abandon singing & music \u2026 !!! it is and has always been my lifeline,\u201d Grande captioned a video of her singing on Instagram posted on Wednesday<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cThere will need to be room made for all of it,\u201d she wrote in the post, adding a fairy emoji. \u201cIt may not look exactly like it did before but i much prefer how it looks in my head.\u201d<\/p>\n The busy \u201cSide to Side\u201d singer went on to say that she was enjoying herself by expanding creatively.<\/p>\n \u201cI am having fun. i feel grateful and excited and inspired. \ud83d\ude42 finding a balance, between many projects and endeavors i love, and doing it my own way\u2026 so i\u2019m working on a plan to sing for you all next year. even if it\u2019s just for a little. i love you,\u201d she concluded.<\/p>\n Grande\u2019s fans showed their support in the comments of her post.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd we love you in all your facets and endeavors,\u201d wrote one.<\/p>\n \u201cSeated for all of it,\u201d added another, who included a chair emoji.<\/p>\n Grande received her first Academy Award nomination, in the best supporting actress category, for her role as Glinda in \u201cWicked.\u201d<\/p>\n Grande\u2019s message to fans comes over a month after news broke that she was joining the star-studded cast of the next \u201cMeet the Parents\u201d movie.<\/a><\/p>\n Ben Stiller commented on Grande\u2019s casting to NBC News\u2019 Joe Fryer during a joint interview with co-stars Teri Polo and Robert De Niro<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s so talented. She\u2019s so great with comedy,\u201d Stiller said of Grande, adding that her character in the movie will be \u201creally, really funny.\u201d<\/p>\n Fryer joked that the movie could turn into a musical thanks to Grande\u2019s involvement, prompting Oscar winner De Niro to quip, \u201cThe scenes that I have with her will be singing scenes.\u201d<\/p>\n Grande will also reunite with her \u201cWicked\u201d co-star Cynthia Erivo for the sequel, \u201cWicked: For Good,\u201d<\/a> due in theaters Nov. 21, and she will be lending her voice<\/a> to an upcoming movie version of the Dr. Seuss kids book \u201cOh, The Places You\u2019ll Go.\u201d <\/p>\n
