Federline, 47, writes in his memoir You Thought You Knew<\/a> (out Oct. 21) that he fears the pop star\u2019s \u201csituation\u201d is \u201cracing toward something irreversible\u201d \u2014 and reveals that his sons claimed that their mom sometimes watched them sleep with a knife in her hand<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s become impossible to pretend everything\u2019s OK. It\u2019s about survival,” he adds \u2014 “Now, more than ever, [our children] need your support. I\u2019ve been their buffer for years, but now it\u2019s bigger than me.
