<a href=\"https:\/\/globalnews.ca\/news\/11473832\/multiple-people-stabbed-stranger-attack-yaletown-seawall\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">string of stabbings in Yaletown last week<\/a> has now been charged.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1760146148_446_70c8fc80.png\" alt=\"\" style=\"position:absolute;width:1px;height:1px\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Tamara Jean Hamelin, 35, has been charged with one count of assault in connection with Friday\u2019s Yaletown stabbings.<\/p>\n<p>Vancouver police told Global News that more charges are likely.<\/p>\n<p>Hamelin had a bail hearing at 5 p.m., but she was remanded in custody.<\/p>\n<p>Police said in an update on Monday that they arrested a 35-year-old suspect in the Downtown Eastside at around 4:20 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Images were published over the weekend of a woman they believed to be responsible for the stabbings.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" width=\"170\" height=\"225\" loading=\"lazy\" day.<\/p>\n<p>Police said they received 911 calls just after 7:30 a.m. on Friday, reporting that multiple people had been injured in random stabbings along the seawall near David Lam non-life-threatening injuries after police responded.<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday, police said four additional victims had come forward, including another stabbing victim, a person who alleges they were
