Keanu Reeves is clearing the air about rumors circulating he tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Alexandra Grant. <\/p>\n

At the New York City premiere of the actor\u2019s new film, \u201cGood Fortune,\u201d on Monday, Reeves lovingly shut down the gossip about his alleged nuptials while speaking with E! News<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, that wasn\u2019t the first time,\u201d he quipped about the rumors. \u201cWe\u2019ve been going out for a long time.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cMatrix\u201d star and Grant, a visual artist, first went public with their relationship in 2019. <\/p>\n

Before that, they were linked together as far back in 2011 when they released their collaborative book, \u201cOde to Happiness,\u201d which Reeves wrote and Grant illustrated.<\/p>\n

Reeves\u2019 comments came on the heels of Grant dismissing the marriage rumors as \u201cfake news\u201d late last month. <\/p>\n

Sharing a photo on Instagram of her and Reeves kissing, she wrote<\/a>, \u201cThis is a real photo. Not an engagement photo or an AI wedding announcement… simply a kiss!\u201d<\/p>\n

Grant added, \u201cI\u2019m sharing it here to say thank you to everyone for the congratulations on our wedding. Except we didn\u2019t get married. Good news is much needed these days, but it\u2019s still fake news, so be careful out there! So, here\u2019s a bit of real happiness!\u201d <\/p>\n

Reeves praised his girlfriend\u2019s post to E! News, telling the outlet that Grant \u201cdid a wonderful [job]\u201d disarming the rumors. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe wedding, it\u2019s a nice thing,\u201d he said. \u201cPeople did a lot of nice messages and stuff, but Alexandra just did a wonderful [job] addressing. Like, \u2018Thank you, but here\u2019s the reality.\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n

While Reeves and Grant have largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight, a source told People<\/a> that the couple is a match made in heaven. <\/p>\n
