Former \u201cGMA3\u201d<\/a> co-hosts Amy Robach<\/a> and T.J. Holmes<\/a> made a big announcement about their future on Tuesday \u2015 but it doesn\u2019t involve a return to the show.<\/p>\n

Instead, the couple told listeners of their Amy & T.J.<\/a> podcast that they are planning to <\/a>get hitched. You know, married.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are sharing with all of you that we are engaged and we\u2019ve been engaged for just about a month now,\u201d Robach said, adding that he and Robach \u201cwanted to let you all know before anybody else was able to. We\u2019ve learned that lesson, I guess, in the past about our relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n

Holmes\u2019 remark was a reference to December 2022, when the Daily Mail revealed that the two were dating each other<\/a> despite being employees on the same ABC show and married to other people.<\/p>\n

Holmes also joked that no one in their circle said a word about Robach \u201cdangling a ring in everybody\u2019s face.\u201d<\/p>\n

Robach didn\u2019t disagree.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was in three massive football stadiums three weekends in a row, wearing my engagement ring very proudly, very excitedly, and kept waiting for somebody to point it out or ask me, \u2018Hey, what\u2019s that?\u2019 And it never happened,\u201d she lamented. <\/p>\n

\u201cAnd if people saw it, maybe they were just being polite,\u201d she added. Holmes admits he\u2019s surprised no one picked up on their engagement.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were intimately engaged with friends, very close people, for the past three weekends. All of them are gonna think back and go, \u2018Oh my god, how did we miss it?\u2019\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Robach and Holmes first started working together on \u201cGMA3: What You Need to Know<\/a>\u201d in September 2020, when Robach was married to actor Andrew Shue and Holmes was married to attorney Marilee Fiebig.<\/p>\n

Both of them were reportedly either separated or in the process of separating<\/a> from their partners when their relationship became public.<\/p>\n

Neither Robach nor Holmes offered any details about the pending nuptials on Tuesday\u2019s show, but Robach did admit her desires are simple.<\/p>\n

\u201cJustice of the peace. Vegas,\u201d she said, but Holmes had questions.<\/p>\n
