\t\t\tRICHMOND, Va. \u2013\u00a0North Carolina A&T\u2019s Ekaterina Prokhorova captured CAA Women\u2019s Golfer of the Week on Wednesday after securing the medalist honors and helping the Aggies capture a first-place finish over the weekend.

\nProkhorova produced medalist honors at the SAS HBCU Invitational, scoring a 4-over 214 at the Prestonwood Country Club. Prokhorova won by two strokes over senior teammate Polina Marina to claim her third individual tournament win in her last five outings, dating back to the PGA Works title to close out the spring. Prokhorova’s win on Sunday tied her with Christyn Carr for the program record for career tournament wins at three apiece. The Aggies also won as a team on Sunday behind the excellent play of Prokhorova. North Carolina A&T shot 23 shots better than second-place N.C. Central.<\/p>\n
