Per the official character description, Aphrodite \u201ccan alter her appearance depending on the beholder\u201d and \u201cmust be sure that Percy Jackson (Walker Scobell) respects the power and importance of love before she agrees to offer aid on his quest.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tMcKinnon is best known for her work on \u201cSaturday Night Live,\u201d serving as a cast member from 2012 to 2022. She earned 10 Emmy nominations during her tenure, winning twice. Her other prominent credits include the films \u201cBombshell\u201d (2019), \u201cYesterday\u201d (2019), \u201cThe Spy Who Dumped Me\u201d (2018) and the 2016 \u201cGhostbusters\u201d reboot. More recently, McKinnon played Weird Barbie in Greta Gerwig\u2019s \u201cBarbie\u201d (2023) and Carole Baskin in Peacock\u2019s 2022 limited series \u201cJoe vs. Carole.\u201d Up next, she will be seen in Andrew Stanton\u2019s Hulu sci-fi film \u201cIn the Blink of an Eye.\u201d She is repped by CAA, Artists Firsts and Hansen, Jacobson, Teller, Hoberman, Newman, Warren, Richman, Rush, Kaller, Gellman, Meigs &amp; Fox.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPercy Jackson and the Olympians\u201d is based on Rick Riordan\u2019s middle-grade book series of the same name. Riordan created the TV series with Jonathan E. Steinberg, who serves as showrunner alongside Dan Shotz. Executive producers include Steinberg and Shotz; Riordan and Rebecca Riordan; Craig Silverstein; Bert Salke; the Gotham Group\u2019s Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Jeremy Bell and D.J. Goldberg; James Bobin; Jim Rowe; Albert Kim; Jason Ensler; and Sarah Watson. Along with Scobell, the main cast includes Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, Dior Goodjohn and Daniel Diemer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe series debuted on <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/disney-2\/\" id=\"auto-tag_disney-2\" data-tag=\"disney-2\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Disney+<\/a> in 2023, and Season 2 premieres on Dec. 10.
